Looking to spend some time in Toy Story Land with no crowds or wait times? Then this event is one you might want to check out.
Starting on September 17 Early Morning Magic is coming to Hollywood Studios. During this event guests will have early access to Toy Story Land, including the rides and meet and greets with the characters. This will give guests attending the event a chance to ride Slinky Dog Dash without having to wait in a long line.
Not only will guests get exclusive access to the new land, but there will be a continental buffet too. On the menu are things like yogurt, fruit, pastries, cereal, avocado toast, fried chicken, and cronuts with maple glaze. The buffet will be available at a select quick-service restaurant outside of Toy Story Land (Disney has not mentioned which location yet).
Early Morning Magic will take place on select Mondays and Wednesdays from 7:30 a.m. to 8:45 a.m., starting on September 17. The continental buffet will be available to event guests until 10 a.m.
Event Dates:
- September 17 and 24
- October 1, 3, 8, 10, 15, 17, 22, 24, 29, and 31
- November 7, 12, 14, 26, and 28
- December 3, 5, 10, 12, 17, and 19
Cost
- $79 per adult (10 and older), $69 per child (ages 3 -9)
Keep in mind this price is in addition to a theme park ticket. So it’s not like the Halloween party or the Christmas party, you will need both an event ticket and a theme park ticket for this event.
Guests can book this event on the phone or online. Since this is giving exclusive access to Toy Story Land it could be a popular event. If you want to experience this, I would probably book it sooner rather than later, just to be sure you get a spot.
People are wondering if it’s worth the cost. Honestly, $80 is a lot for an hour and fifteen minutes, but since you get access to a popular new ride and a buffet breakfast is included, it makes it a little easier to talk yourself into booking it.
What do you think about this Early Morning Magic event?
Thanks for reading!

It’s a continental breakfast not a buffet and $80 is outrageous ! Don’t get me wrong, I love Disney but it seems like they are just finding more ways to make a buck with little in return.
Hi Glenn!
Both the Disney Parks Blog article and the website description say “continental buffet.” Disney may have made up their own description of this meal offering. LOL
I thought the Disney After Hours event was worth the money. I’m not really sure about this one, but it will be good for those that really want to experience Toy Story Land with little wait times. Definitely not for everyone though.
For my family, this just might save us so much time, and money.
1st: That’s like getting 3 free FP’s. Now I can FP 3 other rides before noon, and have a better chance getting another popular ride in quickly. Might just get us out of the park before 3pm.
2nd: That’s one free meal. Now we have an extra meal on our dining plan, that we need for our last day, before driving 1300 miles back home.
3rd: We could probably ride each attraction 3 times before going for breakfast. Most guests will be lucky if they even get on all three at all, in one trip. And honestly, who cares if it’s a buffet or a continental breakfast? It’s included and I would imagine it’s all you care to eat.
So there’s my thought on Early Morning Magic For Toy Story Land. It’s not for everyone, but it looks to be worth looking into for my family.
Hi Lana!
It will cutdown on wait time for Slinky Dog Dash, for sure, so that alone is worth it to a lot of people. It’s such a fun coaster. 🙂 And that’s a good point for people who are on the dining plan and driving home from Disney. Have fun and enjoy your time in Toy Story Land!
Getting up early just isn’t our thing.
