The other day I posted the above picture and asked for guesses as to where the instruments are located. There were some great guesses and a lot of people knew where to find these instruments.
The instruments are located in the Outpost area in Epcot. The Outpost is part of the World Showcase and you can find it between China and Germany. This area isn’t as built up as the country pavilions, but there are still some activities to check out here.
The instruments are set up for guests to use near a refreshment stand, appropriately called the Refreshment Outpost. Not surprisingly, this is a pretty popular area for a lot of kids. It’s not just kids that enjoy it though, I’ve seen plenty of adults having fun in this area too.
In addition to the instruments there’s the Refreshment Outpost (as mentioned above), a face painting area, and shopping. The face painting stand has a lot of different designs to choose from, with most of them having an animal theme.
The shopping area is called Village Traders and it’s designed like an open-air marketplace. Village Traders features things like African-themed musical instruments, wood carvings, and soapstone sculptures.
If you are feeling hungry or thirsty then you can make a stop at the Refreshment Outpost. The menu consists of things like all-beef hotdogs, soft-serve in a waffle cone, frozen Minute Maid lemonade slushy, frozen Coca-Cola slushy, ice cream float, fountain drinks, bottled water, and a selection of alcoholic beverages.
Thanks to everyone who played along this week and congratulations to those that knew where the instruments are located! We’ll play again next Wednesday!
Have you stopped by the Outpost in the World Showcase?
Thanks for reading!
