Last week I posted the above picture and asked for guesses as to where it is located. Clearly this is a popular spot because a lot of Disney fans knew where to find it.
Congratulations to andrearice808, sue_d126, and gkillian923 from our Instagram page who all knew the answer. On Facebook in our Main Street Wishes group Nicole got the right answer and on our Facebook page Cathy knew where to find the fountain. And finally on the website Doug, Joyce, Melanie, Linda, Rylie, Lee, Julie, and Cathy were all correct. Congratulations all!
The fountain is located in the France Pavilion in Epcot’s World Showcase. It’s definitely a great place for photos and you can often find PhotoPass photographers here. The France Pavilion have some nice photo opportunities, including a scaled down version of the Eiffel Tower that is a great background in pictures. In addition to the photo opportunities there are some fun shops to look around and plenty of choices for food and drink.
Food and Drink
Les Vins des Chefs de France serves slush drinks, but they aren’t just any frozen drinks. The Grand Marnier and the Grey Goose Slush drinks are both available here, as well as the Citron slush. I’ve had both the Grand Marnier and the Grey Goose slushes, but my favorite is the Grand Marnier Orange Slush. The alcohol doesn’t overpower and it’s refreshing, especially on a hot day. Also, they serve it in a plastic martini glass. It’s a nice, and portable, way to drink this delicious slush.
If you’re looking for a good Boeuf Bourguignon, then I would try Chefs de France. The restaurant is beautiful and the food is very good. My last experience dining there I had the boeuf bourguignon and it was delicious and so tender; the meat fell apart, I didn’t need a knife to cut it. Everything from the bread to the dessert was delicious and the cast member who took my order was very friendly. You can read the whole review here.

The bakery (Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie) also has some good food. Sometimes we’ll go to the bakery and get a variety of pastries to share while we wait for the fireworks to start. I’ve never been disappointed with anything we have tried from there.
Attractions
The France Pavilion also has some entertainment for guests. As of right now, there is no ride, just shows. However, that will change once Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure opens. For now there are two shows guests can see while they are in the France Pavilion.
The two shows share a theater, so only one can play at a time. Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along has showings from 11 am to 7:30 pm, and Impressions de France has showings from 7:30 pm until 9 pm.
In addition there are a few shops in the pavilion that guests can browse while they are exploring the area.
