Last week I posted the picture above and asked for guesses as to where it is located. As always there were some good guesses, but 10 people knew exactly where to find the window!
Congratulations to Doug, Linda, Shelly, Gail, Pam, Corrine, Judy, Travis, Disney Dennis, and Addy, who all knew the window is located in Hollywood Studios. Specifically, it can be found above Hollywood & Vine in the Echo Lake area. Next to the window with Eddie Valiant’s agency name is a silhouette of Roger Rabbit looking like he jumped through the window. It’s one of those fun things that you might not notice, because it’s above a restaurant with a lot of neon lights.
Hollywood & Vine is a character dining location that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. All meal times have characters that march through the dining room while you enjoy your family style meal. At breakfast guests will see different Disney Junior characters at the Disney Junior Play ‘N’ Dine breakfast.
For lunch and dinner Minnie and her friends take over with Minnie’s Seasonal Dine. So what this means is that there are different costumes the characters where throughout the year. The costume you see them in depends on what time of year you are going.
Dates for Minnie’s Seasonal Dine
- Halloween Dine: August 10, 2021 – November 3, 2021
- Minnie’s Holiday Dine: November 4, 2021 – January 3, 2022
- Silver Screen Dine: Starting January 4, 2022
- Springtime Dine: TBD
The menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner have a variety of choices. Since this is now a family style restaurant (it used to be a buffet) the table will share starters for the meal and then each guest has a choice of entree and a choice of dessert for lunch and dinner. The cost of breakfast is $42 per adult and $27 per child. Dinner and lunch cost the same with adults being $55 each and children being $36 each.
Have you ever noticed the window above Hollywood & Vine? If not, you are not alone. It’s an easy detail to miss when you’re walking by or going to the restaurant. So when you’re walking around the parks make sure to look up at the details on the buildings. There are some fun things to see!
Congratulations to everyone who knew where to find the window and thanks to everyone who played along! Hope you had fun! Another Where is it Wednesday picture will be up soon.
Thanks for reading!
