Last week I posted the above picture and asked for guesses as to where it is located. While there were some great guesses, this one proved to be a little difficult.
The decorations can be found at Yak & Yeti Restaurant in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The decorations are located along the shelf by the ceiling in one of the rooms off to the left. There is quite a bit to see in every part of this restaurant to it’s easy to miss details. This was our first time trying the restaurant and we loved looking around at the decor. You can see more of the decorations in the picture below.
The story of this restaurant is that a local rich merchant, Arjun, needed to turn his home into a restaurant. All of Arjun’s artifacts that he has collected during his travels through Southeast Asia are what decorate the restaurant, and there are a lot of them. So while you are dining, make sure to look around at all the details.
For the menu, guests will find Pan-Asian cuisine here. We found the food to be very tasty. We tried a couple of appetizers, Pork Pot Stickers and Pork Egg Rolls, and we enjoyed both. For the entrees we ordered the Kobe Beef Burger, Hibachi Steak & Shrimp, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Mac & Cheese from the kids menu. Everyone was happy with what they ordered and the helpings were pretty generous, so we had some food left over to bring back to the room. We didn’t try any dessert, because we were full from the entrees, but the dessert menu sounds good too.

Chances are we’ll come back to Yak & Yeti, because we enjoyed everything about this restaurant. Plus, it’s nice to take a break during the day and sit down for a meal. If you have been thinking about making a reservation here, I would try it during your next visit. It’s a fun atmosphere and the food is good.
Thanks to everyone who played along this week! Another Where is it Wednesday picture will be up soon.
Have you been to Yak & Yeti?
Thanks for reading!
