Last week I posted the above picture and asked for guesses as to where it is located. There were some good guesses, but four people knew where to find the desk.
Congratulations to Dean, Steve, Nic, and Caroline who all knew the desk can be found in the queue line for Kilimanjaro Safaris at Animal Kingdom. The queue line, like most Disney queue lines, has detail throughout to keep guests looking around as they wait to board the ride. This desk is one of the decorations seen during the wait in line and there are plenty of things to see, so it’s fun to look at the details on the desk and surrounding it. Things like this add to the story of the ride, which adds to the experience for the guests.
Kilimanjaro Safaris is located in the Africa section of Animal Kingdom and it’s a popular experience. Guests board ride vehicles and set out on a safari to see over 30 species of animals on 110 acres. Some of the animals, like the giraffes, roam free around the ride vehicle path, so don’t be surprised if there’s a back up of ride vehicles waiting for animals to move from the path. The safari lasts about 18-minutes, give or take depending on the animals near the ride path.
Thanks to everyone who played along and congratulations to everyone who knew where to find the desk. Another Where is it Wednesday picture will be up soon!
What’s your favorite animal to see on Kilimanjaro Safaris?
Thanks for reading!
