The Boardwalk has some very good dining experiences. The Boardwalk Bakery has delicious baked goods and Big River Grille has pretty good burgers, but the Flying Fish Cafe is probably the most popular table service restaurant on the Boardwalk. People love the food and the ambiance. Well, it’s about to get a makeover.
According to Disney Parks Blog, the popular restaurant will be reimagined in 2016. Both Walt Disney Imagineering and the culinary team will play roles in the new look and menu for the restaurant.

The new dining room will have a kitchen that is onstage and a more open design to give more space for the Chef’s Counter and wine dinners. Disney Parks Blog says not to worry about the potato-wrapped snapper, it will return to the menu when the restaurant opens after the makeover.
The last day to make a reservation at Flying Fish Cafe will be January 31.
