Last year Disney made a decision that upset a lot of guests. They cancelled the popular show Off Kilter in Epcot. The show had a big following and people started petitions to try to save them. The band did not come back, but was replaced with a Canadian Lumberjack show. This was just over a year ago and now it seems that the lumberjacks have performed their last show.
According to the Orlando Sentinel, the show, which featured competitions like ax throwing and speed sawing, performed its last show on November 24. That Friday the Canadian Holiday Voyageurs took over the stage. The holiday show will continue through the holiday season. No replacement, for after the holidays, has been announced.
The show was performed multiple times each day on the stage that was once used by Off Kilter. Disney had added a pool for the lumberjack show for the log-rolling competitions.
What kind of show would you like to see on the stage? Are you hoping fort he return of Off Kilter?
We’ll have to wait and see what Disney decides to do with the stage after the holidays. We will keep you posted of any announcements.
