Today’s Picture of the Day comes from the Animal Kingdom Lodge lobby.
This picture was taken at Animal Kingdom Lodge after our dinner at Boma. Guests can see animals roaming right outside, dine in really good restaurants, and see impressive details.
Disney’s Deluxe resorts have impressive lobbies, but Animal Kingdom Lodge is definitely one of my favorites. The ceiling is very, very tall. So when you walk in your eyes are automatically drawn upwards and there are details from the floor to the ceiling. I love the chandeliers that they have hanging in the lobby.
When you are in the lobby you should definitely take some time to look around. I had been in the lobby before, but never noticed the details on the railings. Just glancing at it you might miss the fact that it was designed to look animals running. Pretty cool! It’s so fun to look around for details like that in the hotels.

Love Animal Kingdom Lodge! Stayed there a few years back. I had a Savannah room and just wanted to sit on my balcony and watch the animals. I would definitely stay there again!
That sounds like a great vacation! Nothing like morning coffee while watching giraffes roam by your balcony 🙂
