Today’s Picture of the Day comes from Tony’s Town Square Restaurant in the Magic Kingdom.
This picture is from my first visit to Tony’s. My friend and I were both working at The Disney Store (different locations) and with working there came the perk of a couple of tickets. So we decided to plan a trip. I’m glad we did, because we had so much fun!
This was back in 2007 and we were both newbies to the whole planning a Disney trip thing. So we didn’t realize how much planning we needed to do, though I think it has gotten a little more intense over the years. One of our dining choices was Tony’s, because we liked the look of the restaurant (and the menu!).
One of the features of the restaurant I had heard about was the beautiful Lady and the Tramp fountain inside. I love the movie, so I was excited to see this fountain in person. Of course, there are pictures and other fun tributes to the movie, but the fountain is definitely my favorite. It’s a great photo opportunity too.
Tony’s Town Square Restaurant is located at the front of Magic Kingdom Park on Main Street U.S.A. When you enter the park, and you are looking down Main Street U.S. A. to the castle, Tony’s is on your right. It’s such a cute little spot for lunch and dinner. Plus, if you are there during a parade time, you have the added bonus of being close to the parade route. The menu still sounds pretty good too.
