New Holiday Experience Will Fly Above Disney Springs

We have already heard about the Disney Springs’ Christmas Tree Trail that will be starting at Disney Springs soon, but another new experience has been announced. Guests will have to look to the sky for this one. 

Disney announced that with this new experience “the idea of “wishing upon a star” will take on an even more magical meaning in the skies of Disney Springs.” They aren’t saying much more than that in the announcement, but they did release a teaser video.

The video doesn’t give all that much detail either, but what it does show looks amazing. The Orlando Sentinel recently reported that Disney gained permission to use drones over their property, including at night. So it sounds like this was part of the intention of asking for the permission to fly the drones. 

Disney Springs will be a popular place to be this holiday season. Between the trail of Christmas trees and this nighttime experience, guests will be doing more than just shopping and eating at Disney Springs.
