Today’s Picture of the Day takes us to Dinoland U.S.A. in Animal Kingdom.
I’ve said before that I think that, of the four Disney theme parks, Animal Kingdom is the one that is overlooked the most, but there are lots of things to do in the park. Dinoland U.S.A. is one of the sections in Animal Kingdom and it’s a fun, carnival themed section.
In this section you will find Primeval Whirl. It’s a rollercoaster that is a time machine which is supposed to take guests back in time to when dinosaurs were roaming the earth. There are lots of cartoon looking dinosaurs and moving props as you pass by in your spinning time machine.
The ride can get a little jerky though and you will bump into the person you are sitting next to, just a warning. There some dips and turns too, but that just adds to the entertainment of the attraction.
I really like this ride. It’s a fun carnival style ride that always makes us smile. Check it out on your next visit to Animal Kingdom!
