This week’s featured photo takes us to Rafiki’s Planet Watch in Animal Kingdom.
I’ve been to this area a few times, but this was the first time I took advantage of this experience. Song of the Rainforest consists of a bunch of rooms that let guests hear different stories and sounds of the rainforest. It’s a fun and educating experience!
First, choose your room. If there is a read light on then a show is in progress, so look for a room with a green light. Once you choose your room and you open the door you will find padded booth seats with headphones hanging along the wall. The rooms fit six people, so there are six headphones in the room. When everyone has their headphones on you can press the start button and the story will begin.
It’s a nice way to get away from the busy feeling of the park for a little bit. Some of the sounds can be quite relaxing. I’m glad I noticed these rooms and took some time to explore and see what they are. That’s one of the fun things about Disney, there is always something new to discover.
Song of the Rainforest is located at Rafiki’s Planet Watch and which can be reached by the Wildlife Express. It’s not located with everything else in the park, you have to take the train to get to Rafiki’s Planet Watch.
