With Toy Story Land set to open in summer 2018 Disney is releasing more pictures and videos of the progress. The latest is a closer look at the ride vehicles for the Slinky Dog Dash coaster.
This is going to be the family roller coaster in Toy Story Land. It looks like a pretty long roller coaster with some dips and drops, but nothing too crazy. The ride vehicles are, of course, Slinky Dog. The look exactly like the character (and actual toy) from the Toy Story movies.
The Imagineers received the first ride vehicle and now will begin testing it on the coaster track. As I said above, the track looks very long, so while guests are walking around Toy Story Land they will be able to see Slinky carrying guests on this fun looking coaster.
There is a lot of excitement and anticipation for the opening of this new section of Hollywood Studios. I know my family and I are very excited to see Toy Story Land when it opens.
Since a lot of Hollywood Studios is closed right now, because of construction of these two new lands, it’s not as busy as some the other parks. I would say to enjoy that as much as you can now, because once Toy Story Land opens it is going to get much busier. And when Star Wars: Galaxy Edge opens in 2019 the crowds are going to be insane.
