Dessert parties can be a good way to enjoy some treats and get a good viewing area of the fireworks. It can be hard to spend the money on the parties though, especially if you don’t know what they include.
Some think the parties are worth the money, while others feel they are a bit overpriced. Recently, I posted a rundown of the different dessert parties and what they included. Some parties include more than others, but they all include treats and special viewings of certain shows at the parks.
For those wondering what is included, Disney has released a promo video for the Happy Hallowishes Dessert Party. The video highlights some of the treats available at the party and includes commentary from Magic Kingdom’s pastry chef, Stephen Sutton. The video shows some closeup shots of a few of the treats made specially for this holiday party.
The Happy HalloWishes Dessert Party is only available during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. It takes place at Tomorrowland Terrace and there are two different options available. One option will give guests reserved seating during the party and allow them to watch the fireworks from Tomorrowland Terrace. A less expensive second option is also available. This option allows guests to attend the party and enjoy the food, but they don’t have reserved seating. Also, when it is time for the fireworks the guests are escorted to the Plaza Garden for fireworks viewing.
After watching the video I am very excited to experience the Jingle Bell, Jingle Bam! Dessert Party this year. The treats look really good and the prime viewing spots included with these parties is a nice bonus.
