Main Street Wishes in Disney World: Arrival Day

We are in Disney for a few days and want to share the trip with fellow Disney fans! There are a couple different ways you can follow our adventure.

You can join our Main Street Wishes Facebook group or follow us on Instagram (main_street_wishes) to see what we are up to while we are in Disney World. We are trying to post as much as we can to share the fun as it happens while we  are here.

Day 1 was spent at Epcot for the last day of the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. That is my favorite festival in Epcot. There are so many countries in the World Showcase during this time and it’s fun to sample different foods from the countries. Plus you can keep track in the (free) passbook that is always available during the festival.

We visited another favorite yesterday too. It was my second time seeing Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue, but my friend/Main Street Wishes contributor, Maureen, saw it for the first time yesterday. She loved it! If you haven’t seen this show yet, I highly recommend getting reservations for your next trip. The show is hysterical and the food is really good. It didn’t hurt that the cast member who was bringing our food was funny and really nice. If you have Rob, or as he says “it’s Bor backwards” (and that’s the name on his tag), you are in good hands! Thanks for a great time Rob (Bor)!

After HDD it was time to head back to Epcot for our Frozen Ever After FastPass and Illuminations. For a pre-Illuminations snack we visited Kringla Bakery Og Kafe in the Norway Pavilion for, what else, School Bread! This was another first for Maureen and I’m glad that my hype of this snack did not ruin it for her.

After Illuminations we stayed in the World Showcase while the park cleared out. There is something very relaxing about walking through an almost empty park.

Today we are headed to Boma for breakfast, Animal Kingdom, and then Hollywood Studios. It’s going to be another busy, but fun day. Hope you will join us!
