This week’s ears in the spotlight aren’t actually an ear headband or hat, but there are Mickey ears on the hat.
This is a hat I purchased at The Outpost Shop at the entrance of Animal Kingdom. I liked this hat right away! It’s a cute hat and it kept the sun off my head while walking around Animal Kingdom. I’m not sure if they still have it at The Outpost Shop, but they might. I didn’t see it on shopDisney.com or the Shop Disney Parks app, but it might still be available in the parks. So you can always keep a look out for it the next time you are in Disney World.
It’s a white straw hat and it has silver, shiny thread woven through the hat. The silver thread gives it that nice extra shine in the sun. Wrapped around the hat is a silver bow. The material used for the bow is thick and it feels pretty durable. Also on the hat is a Mickey icon, located right above the bow.
This hat is perfect for people who are looking for a hat that is a little more understated and not so “in-your-face” Disney. It’s really cute and it was comfortable to wear. Plus, it did the trick and kept the sun off my head. A sunburned scalp is no fun for anyone!
As I said above, I didn’t see this hat on the Shop Disney Parks app or on shopDisney.com, so I don’t have an exact price of what this hat goes for now. However, similar hats are selling for around $29.99.
