The popular “Disney After Hours” event is back. Who’s ready to spend some extra hours at Magic Kingdom?
The special event will take place on select dates in June, July, August, and September. Most of the extra hours are extended to 1 a.m., giving guests plenty of time to enjoy lower crowds in the park. “Disney After Hours” limits tickets to a small number of people, which translates into little to no wait time for rides!
During this special event there will be over 25 attractions and experiences available for guests. Imagine walking right onto Seven Dwarfs Mine Train?! Also, guests with party tickets can enter the park as early as 7 p.m. So, that means you can still enjoy the fireworks, but you do not have to worry about fighting the crowds for transportation back to your hotel. Sounds like a win to me!
In addition to the low crowds and low wait times, Disney also has ice cream novelties and select bottle beverages available that are included in the cost of admission. The included items will be available at carts throughout the park. There will also be items available for purchase at Main Street Bakery and other select locations in the park.

Hi, I thought extra hours were free?
Hi Susan!
Extra Magic Hours are included when you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel, but this is something different. This is “Disney After Hours” and it’s only available for a limited time and on select days. The Extra Magic Hours are open to everyone who is staying at a Disney Resort Hotel, but this event has a very limited number of tickets available each night of the party.
So, it will cost an additional $110 for an extra four hours at the park? Seems a little expensive to me….
