The question of a Passholder preview for Toy Story Land has been on the minds of many Annual Passholders. There was a preview for Pandora – The World of Avatar, so many guests were hoping for a Passholder preview this time around too.
Unfortunately, it seems as though Disney is going to be working up until (or very close to) the opening of the new section. So, this means there will probably be no Passholder previews occuring. However, Disney is still going to do something special for Annual Passholders.
Disney has announced that they will be giving Annual Passholders exclusive access to Toy Story Land in September. This exclusive access will give guests the chance to check out the two newest rides and purchase food at Woody’s Lunch Box with less wait times.
Details
- Available to Gold, Platinum, Platinum Plus, and Premier Passholders.
- Passholders can register one guest to accompany them, but that guest must also be a Passholder with a valid Gold, Platinum Plus or Premier annual pass, be listed on your Family & Friends list, and be able to share “All My Plans.”
- A valid annual pass and picture ID will be required at check-in.
- Capacity for the event is limited.
- Annual Passholders will receive an email with the event invitation and details on how to register for the event.
- The exclusive access will be held on select dates and at specific times.
Disney has not said when they will be sending the registration emails, but Annual Passholders should be on the lookout. We will keep you updated when registration is open.

Do you know if this is for Disneyland too?
Hi Randi!
Toy Story Land is opening in Disney World only, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will be at both Disneyland and Disney World. Keeping my fingers crossed for passholder preview times next year for the opening!
