Today’s dose of Disney brings us back to Epcot.
This picture is one of my favorites I took during my trip in March, because it includes so much in one picture. Plus, it’s a spot where you’re not seeing a ton of construction, and there is a crazy amount of construction going on in Epcot these days. The flower designs are always so beautiful and bright, it automatically puts a smile on my face when I see it, as do the floating flower arrangements in the water.
I’m sad that the Flower & Garden Festival was so short lived this year, which is one of the reasons I wanted to share the picture. Since the parks closed only a couple of weeks after the beginning of the festival, not as many people were able to visit and see the displays. Disney goes all out with the topiaries and the flower displays during this festival and they can be seen all over the park. I love walking around Epcot any day, but it’s even more enjoyable during Flower & Garden. The topiaries on display are so cute and impressive. In addition to Disney characters there are other topiary designs, for instance in the China Pavilion there is a really cute display of a panda topiary with three pandas. It’s a nice break to just stroll around the World Showcase and see all the displays.
Hopefully, the Flower & Garden displays will stay around until the parks reopen. It would be a shame for them to be taken down before more guests had a chance to enjoy them.
What’s your favorite part of the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival? Did you get to visit during the festival before the parks closed?
Thanks for reading!
