Today’s dose of Disney brings us to Hollywood Studios to Toy Story Land.
Disney has posted a POV video of Slinky Dog Dash, so it feels like you are on the ride. This is a fun, outdoor roller coaster that opened with the land in 2018. The idea behind Toy Story Land is that guests shrink to the size of a toy and end up in Andy’s backyard where you can see all of Andy’s toys. The roller coaster is a new toy that Andy got and has set up to play with in the backyard.
There are lots of fun details in this section of Hollywood Studios. The popsicle stick benches are one of my favorite details; they’re so cute! The lighting in Toy Story land is another creative detail. Christmas lights are what Andy uses to keep light on his toys at night and they are held up with different things like pencils. Another fun detail in Toy Story Land is one you need to look down for, but it can be difficult to see if the land is filled with people. On the ground are Andy’s footprints! These giant footprints are seen throughout the area, so make sure to look down at some point while in Toy Story Land.
