Today’s dose of Disney takes us to Epcot and shows us what plans are in store for the park.
The Epcot Experience is a fun display to check out at the park. It’s located in the Odyssey Events Pavilion and it gives a close look at what Disney’s plans are for the park. The model Imagineers created shows different areas in the works for Epcot and the room itself is very immersive. The model lights up and changes colors, as do the walls in room. In addition, a narration explains the different areas that are being added, which adds to the immersive feeling.
During the last trip, my friends and I stopped by and the room was really cool to see in person. It’s always interesting to hear what Disney is planning for the future. The Imagineers took this room to the next level to show everyone what to expect! The experience in the room is all around you, so guests can feel immersed in the scenes that show on the walls.
Given the current state of things, I’m not sure what Disney’s construction schedule is looking like these days. Hopefully, this will all still come to be once we can safely get back to normal and back to the parks. The changes look fun and I know I’m not alone in anticipating seeing all of this in person.
