My Disney Experience App Now Allows Guests Check Balance and Credits

There is a new update to the My Disney Experience app and with it come some very welcome additions. A lot of people are very excited about this update and I’m one of them.

Here are the three additions with this update:

Check Your Hotel Balance

One thing that I have wanted to see in the app for quite some time is the ability to check your hotel balance. Disney makes it so easy to pay for everything with your MagicBand. However, it’s not always easy to keep track like you should. So it can be a little bit of a shock when you get the bill. Well, with this addition guests will be able to check their balance whenever they want. LOVE this update. This will definitely help on future vacations.

Check Your Dining Credits

Another update that was added is the ability to check dining credits. Guests who use the dining plan will surely be happy to see this addition. Your remaining credits will show on the receipt when you purchase food, but this addition to the app will allow guests to check how many credits they have left before they get in line or sit down at a restaurant. That’s a very helpful addition!

Adding the dining plan credits to the app gives hope that credits will soon be accepted for Mobile Order payments. As of right now, the Mobile Order feature is still only accepting credit cards. However, the addition of the dining plan credits is very encouraging.

Renew Your Annual Passes

A third addition in this update allows guests to renew their annual passes through the app. That is a definite bonus for all those that have an annual pass.

In my opinion, this is one of the best updates to the app. Disney is making the app something that every guest will find very useful during their trip. I know I’m excited to try out these new features during my next visit!
