The Memory Maker is a way for people to capture memories by having all their pictures in one place. It includes pictures taken by PhotoPass photographers, ride pictures and videos, and pictures with the fun Magic Shots. It’s a popular addition to vacations and now it is going to cost more.
On Disney’s website the Memory Maker is now listed at $169 for advanced purchases (does not include pictures taken within 3 days of purchase) and $199 for the immediate use option. The old pricing was $149 for advanced purchases and $169 for immediate use purchases.
I always recommend getting the Memory Maker and I’ve always recommended the advanced purchase. This is true now more than ever. It’s only a $30 increase for the immediate use option, but $199 for the Memory Maker is a lot of money.
I’ve always considered it to be worth the money, as long as you visit as many PhotoPass photographers as possible. When we go as a family we usually get the Memory Maker and we stop at every PhotoPass stop we can. I would definitely recommend this if you are using the Memory Maker. Also, make sure to ask for the Magic Shots. Get your money’s worth!
How do you feel about this increase?
Thanks for reading!

I totally agree with you Liz! The hubby and kids didn’t always like stopping for pictures, but once we saw the pictures we were all happy we did. Typically I take the pics so I’m not in many of them, but with memory maker I get to be in them too. Plus, the magic shots are lots of fun. I like that it’s one price for as many as you choose to take. It’s still worth it at the advance price.
Hi Christine!
Isn’t it nice to be in the pictures with the rest of the family? LOL And I agree that the flat fee is nice, which is why I always tell clients who purchase Memory Maker to stop at every PhotoPass photographer they see. 🙂
