Disney held this event for the first time last year and people really enjoyed it. So it’s not surprising that they have decided to bring the event back this year.
Disney PhotoPass Day is a day that celebrates the PhotoPass service that Disney offers. On any given day multiple PhotoPass photographers are stationed around the parks to take pictures of guests.
The photographers are fun and they get creative with the poses. Plus, they can do Magic Shots which are pictures that include Disney characters or other effects digitally added to the photos. Always ask about Magic Shots when you see a PhotoPass photographer!
Disney PhotoPass Day will have some extra things available throughout the day:
- Event-exclusive Animated Magic Shots
- One-day-only Character Experiences
- Special Photo Opportunities.
This sounds like a fun event, especially for those that opted to buy the Memory Maker. The animated shots are always fun and I’m excited to hear who the one-day-only characters are going to be.
Disney should be releasing more information as it gets closer to August 19. We will keep you updated with other information as it is released.

Oh bummer. That is 2 days before we get there :(. Haha. We love photopass! So glad it comes with our AP! When we don’t have AP, we always buy memory maker ;). Love it.
