Disney has recently released information about lots of things that will be happening Disney World. One of the announcements includes details about new restaurants coming to Disney World.
Both Epcot and Hollywood Studios will be getting new restaurants. All of them have different themes that fit well with where they are located.
Epcot
Epcot will be getting two new restaurants. One will be located in the American Adventure in the World Showcase and the other will be located next to Mission: SPACE.
Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue
This new fast-casual restaurant will be located where Liberty Inn once was in the American Adventure. As stated in the name of the of the restaurant, craft beer and barbecue will be served here. There will be an outdoor bar with seating around, but the draw for this outdoor area will be the large smoker that will be in the middle of the patio. If you like barbecue, it might be hard to walk past this area without being tempted by the smells. The Regal Eagle Smokehouse is set to open this winter.
Menu Items Include:
- Texas Beef Brisket Sandwich – Served with house-made spicy mop sauce on garlic toast.
- South Carolina Smoked Sausage Sandwich – Served with tangy mustard sauce and caramelized onions.
- Kansas City Smoked Chicken
- Memphis Dry-Rub Pork Ribs
- North Carolina Chopped Smoked Pork Butt
- Power Greens Salad – Served with chilled pulled chicken, fresh citrus, and a citrus vinaigrette.
- Grilled Burger – Topped with BBQ pork and a fried onion ring.
- Plant-based BBQ Burger – Features a plant-based patty topped with BBQ jackfruit served on vegan garlic toast.

- Chicken Salad
- BBQ Rib Platter
- Desserts
- Banana Pudding
- S’mores Brownie
- Fresh Watermelon – Garnished with torn mint.
Space 22o Restaurant
This new table service restaurant will be located next to Mission: SPACE in Epcot. The idea of this restaurant is that guests will be dining 220 miles above the earth’s surface, giving guests beautiful views from space. When guests first enter the restaurant they will board a space elevator that will take them to the restaurant. Once in the restaurant, guests will be taken to their seats past the grow zone, which is an area that has a spinning wall of produce that is used by the restaurant. The menu will feature modern American cuisine as well as a wide selection of wines and craft beer. Space 220 Restaurant will open this winter.
Hollywood Studios
Roundup Rodeo BBQ Restaurant
This new table service restaurant will be a welcome addition to Toy Story Land, which currently only has a quick service location with little shade. The idea for this restaurant is that Andy used some cardboard boxes taped together to create a rodeo arena with some of his favorite toys. The inside of the restaurant will have the rodeo festivities all around as well as western town and train station play sets. Favorite Toy Story characters will be found throughout the restaurant, of course, so make sure to look around while you eat. Roundup Rodeo BBQ Restaurant will open in 2020. I will update as more information becomes available.
