Disney announced today that they released a package for those traveling with a child who is making their first trip to Disney World. This new package is called the “My First Disney Getaway Package” and it’s available to book today.
The package includes:
- A merchandise bag with a plush, autograph book, pen, “My 1st Visit” Mickey ears, and a reusable bag.
- A 2-night stay at a select Disney All-Star Resort.
- A 2-Park Magic Ticket valid for one-day-only admission to Magic Kingdom and one-day-only admission to Animal Kingdom.
- One stroller rental per ticket day.

- Booking Window: Through September 24, 2019
- Travel Window: Most Sunday to Wednesday arrivals August 11 through September 25, 2019
- One merchandise bag per reservation.
- The number of rooms allocated for this package are limited.
- Offer is valid only for standard rooms at select Disney All-Star Resorts.
- Cannot be combined with any other discount or promotion.
- Everyone in the same room must be on the same package.
Disney gave an example cost of $999 for a family of three (2 adults and 1 child ages 3-9). The cost includes everything listed above.

Taking both kids this September for their first time (2 and 5)… has been booked since September of last year (thank you to this site for keeping the long wait interesting) and don’t need much of what’s on offer for the package, but any chance they sell the merch bag separately? Would be nice for both…

I’m not sure Disney would sell the merchandise bags separately, but it’s definitely worth a call to ask. If they can’t sell the bag separately then I would suggest checking out Disney Floral and Gifts. It’s a Disney website that will deliver gift baskets and bags to your resort hotel room.
