Disney has announced today that Disney Springs will start to reopen, slowly, to the public. The announcement comes as welcome news to a lot of Disney fans.
So, beginning May 20 a limited number of shopping and dining experiences will start to open during the first reopening phase. These establishments are ones that are owned by third-party operating participants. While some parts of Disney Springs will be opening the rest of Walt Disney World Resort will remain closed. There was no hint or mention as to when the parks would be reopening.
During this reopening phase Disney stated that there will be limited capacity, parking, and operating hours for Disney Springs. Disney also reiterated their safety measures when reopening areas of the property. These measures include increased cleaning procedures, face coverings for both cast members and guests, limited-contact guest services, and additional safety training for cast members.
Are you excited to see a reopening date for at least part of Disney World?
