Exciting news came out of Disney World this morning. Annual Passes have an official return date!
Starting September 8, guests will once again be able to purchase Annual Passes for the parks. When they return, there will be four options available for those that wish to become Annual Passholders. This is kind of like the different level of passes (Magic Key Passes) that Disneyland introduced a while back. Disney World’s four passes are named the Disney Pixie Dust Pass, Disney Pirate Pass, Disney Sorcerer Pass, and Disney Incredi-Pass.
Disney Pixie Dust Pass

- Can hold up to 3 park reservations at a time.
- Available to Florida residents only.
Disney Pirate Pass

Disney Sorcerer Pass

Disney Incredi-Pass
- Cost: $1,299 + Tax
- Ability to visit one or more Disney World parks on the same day with advance park reservations.
- No blackout dates with this pass.
- Can hold up to 5 park reservations at a time.
It’s noted in Disney’s description of the passes that in addition to the number of reservation holds each pass is allowed, Passholders who are staying at select Disney World Resort hotels or other select hotels are eligible to make park reservations for each day of their resort stay.
Other Perks for Annual Passholders
- Standard theme park parking
- Up to 20% off dining, merchandise, and more
- Access to bonus reservations. Disney will add these bonus reservations to the calendar and these park reservations do not count against the max. number of holds allowed for each pass, these are additional reservations. (New Perk)
- Ability to customize the pass with different options. These customizations include things like Disney PhotoPass downloads, or the Water Park and Sports option. This customization option is available for all four passes. (New Perk)
New Look
To help celebrate the upcoming 50th anniversary, Disney will also be giving the Annual Passholder program a new look. They’ll be using a piece of the original Walt Disney Resort logo as inspiration for the new look.
Current Annual Passholders
Those who have renewed their current Annual Passes may continue to use them as is. The next time the pass is up for renewal is when current Passholders will need to choose one of the four new options. Also, beginning September 8, 2021 Passholders with Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Platinum Plus passes will be able to hold more reservations at a time.
It’s good to finally have a date of availability for Annual Passes! Are you planning to purchase one of the four options?
