Following the tragedy that happened in Disney World last week, Disney closed all of their beaches while they installed fences and new signs. Now they have reopened.
According to NBC, Disney has reopened all the beaches they had shut down following the horrible tragedy. Little 2-year-old Lane Graves was killed by an alligator when he was dragged underwater last Tuesday.
Disney has included new signs in the beach areas to warn of alligators and there is temporary fencing up as well. Cast members will also be on hand at the beaches to help guests (and I’m guessing to make sure no one goes in the water).
Guests are allowed to enjoy the beaches from one hour after sunrise until one hour before sunset. So, basically, you can only hang out on the beaches while it is light out.
Have you seen the new fencing and signage? What do you think?
