The opening date for Remy’s Ratatoullie Adventure is getting closer, so Disney is releasing more information. The latest addition to the attraction page discusses the virtual queue.
Disney has announced that, at least for the initial opening of the ride, there will be a virtual queue. So no standby queue will be available at the opening of this attraction. It sounds like eventually there will be a standby queue available from the statement on Disney’s website.
When Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure initially opens, in order to experience the attraction, Guests will be required to join the virtual queue. A standby queue will not be available at opening.
The virtual queue, which will be limited and subject to availability, is just like Rise of the Resistance. Also, guests will only be able enter the queue once per day. There will be two times available to get into the virtual queue, 7 am and 1 pm, and guests will use the My Disney Experience app to try for a spot in the virtual queue.
If you’ve experienced the virtual queue with Rise of the Resistance you’ll be all set, it’s the same process. We’ll keep an eye on when/if a standby queue line is announced. My guess is that once Genie+ is available Remy’s Ratatoullie Adventure will be on the list. Most likely, it will be on the list that of popular rides that is an additional purchase, but we’ll see what happens once Genie+ is released.
Are you excited to experience Remy’s Ratatoullie Adventure?
