Epcot’s New Space-Themed Restaurant will Open Later this Year

There is certainly a lot going on in Epcot right now. New rides, the transformation of the entrance, and a new dining experience will help to update Epcot a bit.

One of these new experiences is the space-themed restaurant that was announced a while back. This restaurant is being built adjacent to Mission: SPACE, which makes sense. The restaurant sounds like it’s going to be a pretty unique dining experience. The idea is that guests should feel as though they are dining in outer space. The artist’s concept drawing shows huge “windows” with views of space. So it definitely looks like it’s going to be a dining experience like no other in Disney World.

Disney didn’t give a definitive time frame of when this restaurant would open, just “later this year.” As we get closer, Disney will start releasing more information, like what the menu will consist of. Right now, they are just saying that the menu will feature “internationally-inspired cuisine, more than 1,000 bottles of the world’s finest wines and a wide selection of craft beer.”

It’s exciting that we now have an idea of when this unique restaurant will open. Are you excited to try this restaurant when it opens?
