Disney has some pretty fun parties during the holidays. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party are two extremely popular parties that guests will plan their vacations around.
We attended the Halloween party last year and had so much fun. The kids (and adults) got a bunch of candy from trick-or-treating and the characters that come out for the party are ones you don’t see too often. Disney, being Disney is always looking for ways to add to experiences and lately they have been doing that with different party packages.
According to Disney Parks Blog, guests attending Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party can get the HalloWishes Fireworks Dessert Premium Package. This package will get you reserved viewing of Mickey’s “Boo-To-You” Halloween Parade on Main Street U.S.A. and admittance to the private fireworks party at Tomorrowland Terrace. So guests get to enjoy Halloween-themed desserts while they enjoy the Happy HalloWishes fireworks. The cost of this package is $79 for adults and $47 for kids (ages 3 – 9)
If you are going to be in Disney World during the time Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is taking place you can take advantage of the Wishes Fireworks Dessert Party. This will give guests reserved viewing of Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade and admittance to the dessert party. At the dessert party guests will be able to enjoy festive looking treats at Tomorrowland Terrace while watching Holiday Wishes: Celebrate the Spirit of the Season.
In addition to these packages, guests can now make reservations at The Crystal Palace Restaurant, Be Our Guest Restaurant, and Cinderella’s Royal Table on party nights.
Here is some important info to know:
- You will need valid party tickets to attend the fireworks dessert parties
- Halloween and Christmas Party tickets are not included with regular park admission
- You will need valid party tickets to make dining reservations on party nights

That sounds like a good time, Debbie!! I hope you have a very magical time!!
Are there usually New Years events ? Have never been for new year before and was wondering what is usually on ?
Hi Kate!
Disney usually has different dining experiences available during New Year’s Eve. They also usually have a special fireworks show in the Magic Kingdom that starts around 11:50 pm.
Hope that helps!
Do you know if the three resturants that will be open for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas, Crystal Palace,Be Our Guest and Cinderellas Royal
Table be giving vouchers for special parade viewing areas?
Hi Charlene!
I’m not sure if they are going to be doing vouchers or if it will just be attached to your MagicBand. I’m guessing that it will be attached to your MagicBand, because dining reservations are attached to your MagicBand. So they will probably have someone by the reserved area scanning MagicBands at the entrance. Again, it’s just a guess, but that is how they have handled things like that in the past.
