This week’s featured photo takes us to the AbracadaBar on Disney’s BoardWalk.
AbracadaBar is themed to take guests back in time to the golden age of magic. It is located in the same building that once housed Seashore Sweets. The story behind the bar is that years ago this was the place where magicians and illusionists would gather after shows. The lounge eventually vanished, only to reappear recently on Disney’s BoardWalk.
It’s a fun theme and the cocktails available at the bar definitely keep with the theme. It is Disney after all and Disney is good with themes.
Here are some of the cocktails available:
- The Conjurita
- Magic Hatten
- Parlor Trick
- Elixir
- The Sour Assistant
They also have a selection of beer and wine available. One of my favorite drink names pays homage to Seashore Sweets and it is (appropriately) called Seashore Sweet. It is non-alcoholic and is made with Odwalla Lemonade and blue cotton candy.
The theme of the lounge starts the second you see the outside and it continues as you walk through the doors. It’s definitely worth a stop the next time you are on the BoardWalk and want something to drink!
