This week’s featured photo takes us to Gaston’s Tavern in Magic Kingdom.
The tavern is themed after the tavern from Beauty and the Beast. In the movie the song “Gaston” appropriately takes place inside the tavern with everyone singing along to how wonderful Gaston is. The second you walk in you feel like you have stepped into a scene from the movie.
The ordering area will be right in front of you when you walk in. Barrels by the registers have a display to show the total of your purchase. When looking at the registers there are two sets of rooms off to the sides. To the right is the larger dining area and this is where you will find Gaston’s big chair. To the left is a smaller dining area and that is where you will find the dartboard in this week’s photo.
It’s fun looking around at all the details in the tavern and they certainly kept to the theme of the movie. As you can see in the picture, poor LeFou doesn’t stand much of a chance when playing darts against Gaston. Do you think Gaston let him win those five games?
Gaston’s Tavern serves drinks, like LeFou’s Brew, and snacks, like the famous warm cinnamon rolls. Guests can purchase a souvenir cup when they order LeFou’s Brew too. The cinnamon rolls are famous among guests because of their size, but they’re also really good.
So the next time you are visiting Fantasyland in Magic Kingdom make sure you stop by Gaston’s Tavern. It’s a fun little place to stop and have a snack, but there are also a lot of details to see while you are snacking.

We love this place! We always get a pic of one of us in Gaston’s chair by the fireplace. The cinnamon roll is a must-we all share it, as is LaFou’s Brew. I also want to mention that they offer carrots and celery with dip so you feel like you are having a healthy snack too. It is also a nIce resting spot outside by the fountain
