At the D23 Expo Disney gave us the exciting announcement that Toy Story Land will be opening next summer. Today they gave us a look at the finished track for Slinky Dog Dash!
This new land will be focused on the popular Pixar movies, Toy Story. Slinky Dog Dash will be a family roller coaster and one of two new rides to open next summer. The idea is that Andy built the roller coaster in his backyard using a kit and other favorite toys. I love that everything will be oversized, making you feel like you are the size of a toy (like Toy Story Mania!). My family is excited to feel totally immersed in the Toy Story world.

People have been posting aerial shots of Hollywood Studios to see the progress, but it’s nice to see an up-close-and-personal video from Disney. It’s fun seeing the Imagineers at work. They do such a great job and it must be so much fun to bring the drawings to life!
Lots of people are anxiously awaiting the opening of this new section of the park and this latest video from Disney helps to keep the excitement going. I know my family and I can’t wait for next summer!
