One of the bonuses to purchasing the Memory Maker is all the PhotoPass pictures you get access to. Included in those pictures are different Magic Shots taken by the photographer.
What is a PhotoPass Magic Shot? It’s a picture where a photographer takes a picture of you and Disney will add in fun digital touches after. Some popular ones are holding Tinker Bell (Main Street U.S.A.) or looking at Simba, Pumba, and Timon (Animal Kingdom by the Tree of Life).
Now Disney has added a sweet touch to the PhotoPass Magic Shots. Two new Magic Shots are available in different areas of Magic Kingdom and they look delicious. The new options are having the Mickey Mouse Ice Cream Bar added to your picture and having a huge Dole Whip added to your picture.
Here are the locations where these Magic Shots are available:
- Mickey Ice Cream Bar Magic Shot
- Tomorrowland
- Frontierland
- Main Street, U.S.A.
- Dole Whip Magic Shot
- Select PhotoPass Locations in Adventureland
To see all the PhotoPass Magic Shots available you can look at Disney’s PhotoPass Service Facebook Page. I did not see these Magic Shots in the Magic Kingdom album yet, but they will probably be added soon.
As a general rule I always ask if there is a PhotoPass Magic Shot available when we have our pictures taken. I also recommend to my clients that they ask. My thought is that if you are paying for the Memory Maker then you should get all the pictures you can!
What’s your favorite PhotoPass Magic Shot?
