People travel to Disney World all the time for many reasons. Whether it’s a family trip, a solo trip, a business trip, or a celebration trip, guests look for ways to enhance their vacation experience. One way to enhance the vacation experience is with fun extras.
A popular way to enhance any Disney World vacation is with a special Disney themed cake. There are different ways and different places where guests can order cakes. Disney World has their own selection of cakes for guests to order, but there are other options. Disney Floral and Gifts and Amorette’s Patisserie are a couple of other ways for guests to order specialty cakes.
Ordering from Disney World

- 6-inch cake – serves 5
- 8-inch cake – serves 8
- 10-inch cake – serves 16
- Mickey Mouse Cake – serves 10-12

- 1/4 sheet cake – serves 25
- 1/2 sheet cake – serves 50
- Sheet cake – serves 100
Character cakes are available as well. Custom cakes are available at most table service restaurants. The prices and flavors may vary depending on which restaurant your are ordering your cake for. When you call the Cake Hotline the cast member who answers will be able to tell you if custom cake ordering is available for your dining reservations. If you would like to special order a cake they ask for 72 hours notice.
Also available for ordering at certain Disney World restaurants is the Cinderella Glass Slipper chocolate dessert. I ordered this for a friend celebrating a birthday and it was beautiful!
Disney Floral and Gifts
This option not only gives you the ability to order a cake, but they have lots of other fun ways to celebrate too. They have gift baskets, flowers, and in room celebrations that most Disney fans would be excited about. Their cake selection is not has big, but they will deliver it to your resort and you can have it in your room. Visit their cake section to see what options are available.
Amorette’s Patisserie
This shop is located in Disney Springs and it serves a lot of delicious goodies. They are known for their Disney inspired character cakes: Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, and Pluto. All character cakes come in one of these choices:
- Chocolate chiffon, milk chocolate mousse, and orange pate de fruit
- Lemon chiffon, white chocolate mousse, and strawberry pate de fruit
The Disney character cakes are not the only cakes you can order, they also have Petit Cakes that come in three varieties:
- Amorette’s Petit Cake – A red velvet cake with chocolate chiffon, chocolate mousse, cherry mousse, raspberry jelly, and Italian Buttercream.
- Tea Time Petit Cake – Lemon chiffon, matcha green tea chiffon, lemon curd, and orange blossom pate de fruit.
- Coffee Time Petit Cake – Gluten-friendly chocolate chiffon, dark chocolate mousse, and coffee buttercream.
They also have the Amorette’s Signature Cake available. This is a layer cake that comes with a “hat box” designed packaging.
The character cakes are listed on the website at $55, the Petit Cakes are listed at $15, and Amorette’s Signature Cake is listed at $75. To order one of these cakes you can call (407) 934 – 3500. They ask for 72 hours notice.
Celebrating while in Disney World is always a good time, but these sweet treats definitely help add to the celebration. Hope the info helps!
