If anyone is ever at a loss as what to get me for my birthday or for Christmas they know they can give me something having to do with Disney and I will be thrilled. For Christmas, my husband gave me a Minnie ears charm, a subscription to WDW Magazine, and Disney Pictopia. All very fun stuff that I love! My in-laws gave me a Disney gift card, which I am saving for our trip next year. The most creative gift has to go to my brother-in-law though. He also gave me a Disney gift card, but in addition he found a Minnie Mouse Chia Pet! I have never done the whole Chia Pet thing, so it’s kind of cool that my first one is Disney related. They are so easy to do and it is going to be fun watching it grow over the next couple of weeks!
Included in the box is the planter, the seed packet and the directions.
So, the first thing you have to do is soak the planter in water for an hour. While the planter is soaking, the seeds should be soaking in a different bowl of water. That way they are ready to go right on when the planter is ready.
After your hour is up, make sure the planter is filled with water. By this time the seeds should have soaked up the water in the bowl, so they will spread easily. The directions say that you may not need all the seeds and I did not use them all, since they are just used to cover Minnie’s bow.
We will see how Minnie’s bow progresses over the next couple of weeks. I looked on Amazon and found the Minnie Mouse planter on there for $16.99 (price at the time of writing). They also have a Mickey Mouse planter for $19.98 (price at time of writing) and a Winnie the Pooh Flower Garden planter for $12.80 (price at time of writing).
So if you are looking for a fun Disney addition to your house that you can watch grow, check out the Disney Chia Pets. I cannot say, yet, how well it works, but I will give an update as the weeks gone on. Hopefully, Minnie will soon have a nice full, green bow!
Thanks for reading!
