This week’s ears in the spotlight are part of the Disney100 Collection an they’re on sale.
The Beauty and the Beast headband represents the 1990s in the Disney100 Decades Collection. The movie this headband represents is from 1991 and it’s been a pretty popular Disney movie since it was released in theaters. It’s so popular that Walt Disney World even built an entire restaurant themed after the movie. Be Our Guest Restaurant is, of course, popular as well.
Starting with the ears on this headband fans will notice that they are not the usual padded ears. These ears are plastic with fabric rose petals in them and each one has a picture representing the movie. One ear has Belle and the Prince, and the other ear has the Enchanted Rose from the West Wing. Both pictures are designed to look like the stained glass window on the castle and a fun added feature is that they light up (charging cord included). So these would be great to wear at night in the parks.
Instead of a bow on these ears there are roses, which is very fitting. The five roses form an arc in between the ears, making it almost look like a crown of roses. It’s a pretty replacement for the usual bow.
Since this headband is part of the Disney100 Collection it has the Disney100 Decades logo plate on the headband. The outside of the headband is covered in a yellow simulated leather material and the inside has a yellow non-slip velour material. Both shades of yellow match back to the yellow shades in Belle’s ball gown.
