This week’s ears in the spotlight feature some of the cutest gumshoes solving crimes.
Just looking at these ears has the theme song running through my head. Chip ‘n Dale’s Rescue Rangers was a cartoon that was on in the late 80s and early 90s, and it was a pretty popular show. So if you are someone who is into Disney cartoon nostalgia, then these ears are definitely for you. If you want a refresh of the theme song, or just feeling like belting it out along with the music, see the video below. It definitely brings back memories for me!
Okay, on to the ears now. These are seriously cute! The only complaint I have is that Monterey Jack isn’t on the ears, but the rest of the team is represented. On the front of the ears you will see the Rescue Rangers logo on one ear. The logo is on a black background, so it pops nicely. The other ear isn’t really an ear, it’s a magnifying glass that Dale is looking through, which Chip is holding. Side note, if you have trouble telling the chipmunks apart Dale has the red nose and Chip has the black nose.
The back of the ears have the silhouette of Chip and Dale, as well as showing the back of the magnifying glass. On the back of the ear, which is a black simulated leather material, are Gadget and Zipper. Again, since the background they are on is black, the characters really stand out on the back of the ear.
On the headband, the same simulated black leather on the ear also covers the outside of the headband. The inside of the headband has a brown non-slip velour material. In addition, there’s a platinum colored Disney100 Decades logo plate on one side of the headband.
This pair of ears definitely brings on the nostalgia feelings for me and others who loved this cartoon as a kid. If you loved this cartoon, or just love Chip and Dale, then these are a definite pair to add to any Disney ear headband/hat collection.
