This week’s ears in the spotlight pay tribute to IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth, which is ending its run next month.
Once I heard they were releasing these ears I knew I would be getting a pair. I’m sad that IllumiNations is ending, so I was happy to see Disney release some farewell items for the show. Plus, they light up, which makes them even more fun.
The ears are plastic and have a globe on them. There are little lights on the inside of the ears that light up when the switch is turned on, which make them fun to where in the dark. On one ear it says “Farewell 2019” and on the other ear it says “Epcot World Showcase.” Each ear has a switch to turn the lights on, so you’ll have to turn them on separately.
The bow has a fireworks design on it and it’s really cute. The background is black and the fireworks are blue, red, yellow, and white. It’s a festive bow and it fits perfectly with the theme of the ears. The headband has a satin-like material on the outside and a velvety material on the inside.
These ears are perfect for anyone who is a fan of IllumiNations! The only thing that would make these ears better is if they said IllumiNations on them somewhere, but they’re still cute.
