This week’s ears in the spotlight aren’t actually ears, but it is a headband and it’s wickedly cute.
I saw this headband at World of Disney in Disney Springs, but I haven’t seen them on shopDisney.com yet. It’s a cute headband and if you’re having a Little Mermaid themed party or are looking for a fun headband for Halloween this could be a good choice.
The main part of this headband is Ursula’s hair with a crown and it is molded out of hard plastic. When you look at this headband you can’t miss Ursula’s signature white hair that looks like it is flowing in the water. Also on the headband is the crown she took (albeit briefly) from King Triton. This is the part of the headband that lights up, so if you are going to a Halloween party or taking kids trick-or-treating, this would be a fun addition to your outfit.
The headband itself is a purple color. The headband is made of hard plastic and has picks to hold it in place, so it does grip more than other headbands. Since these types of headbands aren’t quite as flexible, and have the hard picks, they may be uncomfortable for some people. So keep that in mind if you are thinking about purchasing this headband.
I love when Disney adds a light-up feature to any of their headbands, it just adds a little something more. The fact that the light-up headband is themed after Ursula makes it that much more fun. Got to love Disney villains!
