This week’s ears in the spotlight are bright and fun. They actually remind me of a past attraction at Epcot.
When I saw these ears on shopDisney.com I was immediately reminded of the ImageWorks Rainbow Corridor at Epcot. I think it might be the bow that brings it to mind, but either way these ears made me smile when I saw them.
The first thing you’ll notice, besides all the colors, is that fact that there are no sequins on these ears. Instead, the ears are covered in a navy blue velour fabric and different colored rhinestones are embedded into the fabric. It’s a very pretty design and the rhinestones still add some sparkle to the ears. The rhinestones are only on the front of the ears, the back of the ears just show the navy blue velour fabric.
The bow has the the same vibrant colors as the rhinestones. It’s also pleated and gathered in the middle with the same navy blue velour material that covers the ears. With all the colors on the bow it’s a definite eye catcher.
Moving on to the headband you will find that it too is covered with that navy blue velour material. Usually the headband has a different material on the outside than on the inside, but that’s not the case here, the same material covers the entire headband.
I really like these ears, partially because they remind me of the Rainbow Corridor, but I also just think they’re pretty. If you collect, or you know someone who collects, ears and headbands these would be a good addition. They’re fairly new to shopDisney.com, but that doesn’t guarantee they’ll be on the website for long.
