This week’s ears in the spotlight are a very cool design and they’re perfect for any Mulan fan.
I love the overall design and the colors of this headband, but the coolest part is the fact that this is a reversible headband. Usually most of the details are on the front, but with this headband there are details on both sides, including bows on both sides, making it fun to wear either way.
Ears
A rich red fabric, which has a woven golden design all over, covers the ears. It’s a really pretty design and I love the shade of red on these ears. In addition, the front of the headband has gold foil symbols on each ear. The back of the ears don’t have the gold foil symbols, but the same red fabric on the front wraps around and covers the back of the ears, as well.
Bow
Usually, if a headband has a bow, it just has the one bow. However this pair is a bit different. A blue satin bow sits in the center of the front with a golden dragon head clasp in the middle. Behind the blue bow is a golden fan panel that has “Mulan” spelled out in Mandarin. The same detail is found on the backside of the fan, as well. The back of the headband also has a bow, but it is made of a green fabric. So you can wear this headband with either the blue bow or the green bow showing in the front.
Headband
The same red fabric on the ears covers the headband. Written on one side of the headband is “Bravest of All” and the inside of the headband is covered in a gold velour non-slip material.
These are definitely one of my new favorite pair of ears. I love all the detail that was put into these! They are a great addition to any Mickey/Minnie ear headband/hat collection.

I love these ears but the dragon in the center of the bow is a bit low and digs into my head. If you can get them in person, try them on to make sure the dragon sits up higher on the bow.
Good tip, Lee! Thanks! 🙂
