This week’s ears in the spotlight are an updated design for the Halloween season.
For the past few years Disney has come out with a new version of the Haunted Mansion ears. This year’s design is fun and the headband can be worn with either side facing front. I like that Disney is making more ears like this, it’s nice to have a couple of options of how to wear them.
A purple and black fabric covers the ears and it has the same design as the wallpaper on the Haunted Mansion ride. On the border of the ears are square, metal studs. These studs can be found on both sides of the ears. On the other side of the ears there is also screen art on the left ear that features a skeleton with the words “Foolish Mortal.”
The bow is made of a soft purple velour fabric. In the middle of the bow is a picture of Madame Leota and each side has safety pins pinned through the bow. The backside of the bow is just the purple velour fabric.
On the headband there are two different fabrics. A black velour material covers the outside of the headband and a purple non-slip velour material covers the inside. Each side of the headband has something written on it. One side has “The Haunted Mansion” embroidered on it and the other side has “Her Universe” embroidered on it.
These are a cute pair to add to any ear hat/headband collection, especially if you or someone you know is a Haunted Mansion fan. They’re on shopDisney.com, so grab them while they’re available!
