This week’s ears in the spotlight are the third pair in the Main Attraction Collection.
These ears represent a classic ride at the Disney Parks, the Mad Tea Party, a fun ride in Fantasyland at the parks. The bright colors of the teacups and the oversized tea pot with the mouse popping out of the top make it a cute and whimsical ride for guests. These ears are a good representation of that whimsical feeling.
The ears on this pair are made of a purple satin material. If the design on the front of the ears looks familiar, that’s because it’s the same design that is on those spinning teacups. On the back of the ears, one is plain purple and the other has “Walt Disney World 50” embroidered on it.
Instead of a bow, there is a stack of tea cups in the middle of the headband. The teacups are each different colors and have different designs on them. They’re really cute, but they’re made of a foam material that doesn’t feel super stable. So if you get these ears, I would be careful with how they are handled.
The headband is a pretty light blue satin material on the outside, with “Mad Tea Party” printed on one side. The inside of the headband is a slightly darker blue, almost periwinkle, non-slip velour material.
These are very cute, and aside from the fragility of the foam, they’re a good pair to add to the collection, especially if you have the first two Main Attraction ears. They’re still available on shopDisney.com and they’re available at several different locations on Disney property.
