This week’s ears in the spotlight are one of the pairs in the Main Attraction Collection.
It really isn’t hard to see the theme for this pair. The ears are themed after a popular and classic ride, Pirates of the Caribbean. Not only are these Main Attraction ears, but they can also be considered part of the 50th Anniversary Collection because of the logo on the ears.
The ears on this headband are padded and the material is black with a golden filigree design that includes skulls. The back of the ears do not have the filigree on them, instead both are covered in the black material and the right ear has the 50th anniversary logo.
There is no bow on this pair of ears. Taking the place of the usual bow is a mini pirate hat with a white boa trim. It also has gold accents to match the golden filigree on the ears.
Two different materials can be found on the headband. The outside of the headband is covered in a black material that matches the black on the ears and the pirate hat. Also, on one side of the headband “Pirates of the Caribbean” is embroidered. On the inside of the headband is a non-slip gold velour material, that matches the gold in the ears and the gold on the trim of the pirate hat.
These were the second in the series of 12 to be released. They’re still available on shopDisney.com, so you don’t need to go to the parks to get these.
