This week’s ears in the spotlight are one of the more elegant looking pair of ears.
A lot of ear headbands have bright colors or are covered in sequins, but sometimes less is better. In this case, it’s much better. These ears are so pretty and elegant, they don’t need the bright colors and sequins.
The padded ears on this pair are very pretty, with white satin material covering each ear, front and back. The front of the ears both have a golden lotus design on them, as well as golden faceted studs. The trim is wrapped with gold lame piping, which matches the gold lotus design. There is no design on the back of the ears, but the white satin with the gold piping trim looks elegant on its own.
Instead of being positioned in the middle, the bow is off to the side with one of the ears. There is a white satin bow with a golden cameo in the middle and feather attached to the back of the bow. It’s a bit reminiscent of the headpiece Tiana wears in the scene when she signs “Almost There.”
The outer part of the headband is covered with the same white satin material as the ears. On the inside of the headband is a black nonslip velour material.
These are definitely a new favorite pair for me. They really do give off a certain elegance with their design. If you are a Princess and the Frog fan, or you’re a headband collector, I would consider adding these to your collection.
