This week’s ears in the spotlight are a great pair for any UP fan.
These ears are so cute! Their design is adorable and definitely gives off a cheery feeling when you see them.
The ears themselves are smooth material and there are no sequins on these ears! The material is designed to look like the sky, so the background is a light blue color and there are clouds on both ears. One of the ears also has the UP house pictured on it with strings for the balloons coming out of the chimney. The really cute part is that the balloons are not pictured on the ear, but instead the strings lead up to the bow, so the pompoms in the bow look like the balloons. Such a cute design idea!
As I said above, the bow has different colored pompoms inside. The pompoms on one side of the bow are supposed to look like the balloons that Carl Fredricksen attaches to his house to make it fly away. The material of the bow is see through, so you can see the pompoms. There is also glitter in the material, so it has a little sparkle to it. And what would UP ears be without the beloved Grape Soda pin that Ellie gives to Carl when they were kids? The Grape Soda pin sits right in the middle of the bow, front and center of the headband.
The outside of the headband is covered with the same light blue colored material that is on the ears. However, it is just blue, there are no clouds on the headband. The inside of the headband is covered with a soft light blue material.
I can’t say it enough, these ears are so cute! I wish they had added “Adventure is Out There” on the headband, but it’s still cute without the phrase. These ears would be a great addition to anyone’s ear headband/hat collection.
